About

Do you suspect that you are experiencing pain due to overuse, pregnancy, nerve impingement, inflammation, injury or poor posture? Do you have burning pain down your leg or under your foot? Could your forward head posture be causing your headaches and neck pain?

Hi, my name is Candace Belinc and these are just some of the people I get to help every day. I have been practicing massage for 17 years, and currently hold licenses in Michigan and California. I work to manipulate and relax the most superficial layers of muscle in order to reach deeper layers of the muscle tissue. This is therapeutic massage.

A client presented with three months of strange pinpoint pain on the top of his head. No one could figure it out. The pain was coming from his neck; the base of his skull was referring pain to his head. He felt better after just one session!

Some therapists may feel uncomfortable working in areas such as the groin, stomach or glutes. This is a real shame; as I find that many low back and leg pain sufferers have tight groin muscles, causing the pelvis to rotate forward, putting excess stress and strain on the tissues of the lower back. I am here to help my clients get out of pain and fix the underlying problem; so that they can return to living an active life they love!

I have a background in kinesiology, which means that I understand how the body moves and I also have a great deal of intuition. I help my clients by listening and asking detailed questions about their work and activities of daily living, so they feel a part of their healing journey.

One client came in with a groin pull he’d had for a year! His doctor just told him to rest it. Meanwhile, he couldn't do yoga, something he loved, and he had knee pain when going up stairs. I figured it out; he just had tight inner thigh muscles. I loosened those up, he went back to yoga, and he had no further knee pain going up stairs.

Probably the reason many of my clients say they get relief for days following their treatment, is because I am able to integrate massage with other tools including trigger point work to release lactic acid buildup, exercise routines to address repetitive ergonomic problems, deep myofascial releases, to break up tissue adhesions and kinesiology taping, to hold and sustain improvements and change. Everyone’s massage is therapeutic. Everyone’s massage is unique! Book Now
